The NHS e-Referral Service (e-RS) combines electronic booking with a choice of place, date and time for first hospital or clinic appointments. Patients can choose their initial hospital or clinic appointment, book it in the GP surgery at the point of referral, or later at home on the phone or online.
How to get an e-Referral
Please book a face to face appointment with one of our doctors who will discuss it with you and refer as appropriate. We are unable to organise NHS referrals over the phone.
If you are referred to a specialist for further care you will will be asked to book appointment using NHS e-referral system.
You will receive letter from the practice within two weeks giving details about how to book your appointment and any passwords you may need.
To track your e-referral you will need following details to logon to the e-referral website:
- your date of birth
- reference number-on the first page of the letter
- password-2nd page of the letter
